Kindergarten (K) Education Kit

The Kindergarten education kit has been designed in line with National Curriculum Profiles and contains educational materials and other resources designed specifically to cater to the education needs of this age group. The relevant links to learning areas are given, including strands and outcomes.

The Kindergarten Kit focuses on three key themes:

   1. Dealing with threats to self and others
   2. Traffic and Road Safety
   3. Community Responsibility

As with any educational material, the effectiveness of Constable Kenny messages is enhanced when it is reinforced over time, across the curriculum and within the home and broader community.

The Kindergarten kit includes the following educational resources and materials for schools:

The safety education program will be supplemented by other initiatives including advertising, selling promotional merchandise, producing posters for schools and Constable Kenny Koala appearances at major public events. These elements aim to reinforce safety messages delivered through schools.
